My camcorder doesnt work with batteries but it works with the power supply, why? - camcorder batteries

My Canon Optura 20 (camera) with the battery (I have a new work, and worked a few times), then nothing when the power supply works sometimes turns on its own and is the same and continue to work well, what's wrong ? and how can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance
