Built In Computer Desk I Have Been Looking For Plans To Build A Corner Computer Desk, Any Suggestions?

I have been looking for plans to build a corner computer desk, any suggestions? - built in computer desk

My table must be at least two drawers. I want a large area on the desktop. I would also have a large cabin above. The counterpart is to build instead of personal taste.

The $ 40 was so I have to to myself, I build my own. wow, that was hard work. Now that you've done that, I love it. Fortunately, if you start from scratch, but u can save an office Nice find cheap office supplies.

To Woodworkers.com Then go to Wal-Mart. It will save time and money to make a purchase already done. I have a wood workshop and sometimes it is cheaper to buy long term.

May I think you go with a theme of the triangle.

Sorry, bro .... I had to say.

I would like the idea of design as in the first box office hit. The use of materials, solid thinking. 2x4 pine, plywood, Sh * t loads of places! The cabin can be a few small shelf units ... Remember ... many places!

From the looks of the avatar, that ... You already know that marijuana leads smoke'n carpentry!

I have the same project in my old house. The basic idea was that I built 4 shelves and the lower is the platform. I went to Office Depot and bought two two drawer filing drawer.

The shelves are made of white ash from 3 / 4 "Against plywood, sanded, stained and finished with polyurethane. A band 1x2 accession to the bottom of the platform, and sent them around the edges.

On the platform, cut a hole to allow access to lines (this is also beaten on the edges was). I put a keyboard tray, as you (on every computer I see have) then the material from a table of age. I changed to accommodate one of the 2 drawers to the computer tower.
The legs are made of white ash 2x2 beat to round the edges. Depending on the look you want the corners to the legs vertically or diagonally from the wall outlet. Fishing is a bit more complicated and requires a bit more math to get the right angle.

The three panels are for shelving and storage. They were on the wall with decorative shelf brackets attached to see any hardware store. Remember, a strip of 1x2 attached to any wall and the height you want your shelves. You can soft white pine, or the same kind as the oppo-plated. They were also stained and finished, it will be visible. Two Small Fluorescent fixtures were in the bottom of the second platform () on the platform.

Overall, the materials used were 4 - sheets 4x8 x 3 / 4 "plywood and white ash, 6 skirts, 2-2-buffets can spot 1x1 bedroom, 1x1 room can polyurethane, 2 tubes, pulp wood (nail and screw holes to - Fill it must be paid before dyeing and processing).

Took about 20 hours to design, cutting, finishing and preparation. The actual installation took about two hours.

A key point - the corner of the room is a perfect 90 degree angle (I have not a house where the angles are perfect). Go when planning your cuts, enough to what can Scriband shelves to make room for the angle.

Good luck.
