Do not use chemicals for cleaning or lubricating of the clock. Most clocks have a key role in the mechanism, the rotation and "poof" graphite powder on all mobile parts.Graphite can change is that soft locks and other works with intircate (brass, bronze and lubricated metal.) Can the Most hardware stores or locksmith will be found, usually in a balloon "a bottle.Graphite is something so complicated, remember, less is more. It is so dry that it attracts dust and dirt as the liquid lubricants is.

Good answers here, and a genuine interest in Debbie! :-D
Try compressed air to loosen from the first WD-40 and 3 1. May be somewhat dust, process air to oil. In my opinion, the correct answers. Then, give Debbie a call. ;-) CoooooKooooo! WHOOOOOOO!

I use a light oil, perhaps the way you can get elsewhere for bicycle chains WD40.

After the cuckoo-clock operation, you are welcome to come and smear me.

Brake cleaner can be cleaned, but it is the opposite of what to do lubricants. It is completely dry it out. WD-40 can be the case lubricant and protect the collection of dust in the future.
